Marathon and Super-Marathon Inkjet Microarrayers

These non-contact microarrayers are designed for medium-sized microarray print runs, enabling you to produce batches of high quality, consistent microarrays.

  • Automated microarray production – set it up and walk away.
  • Ideal for multiplex microarray production: for instance, print 100 16-pad slides from a 384-well plate in under two hours.
  • Print onto a wide range of glass slides and alternative substrates.
  • Flexible, upgradeable platform that grows with your needs.

The Marathon was our very first inkjet microarrayer. Its unique inkjet technology was methodically refined over five years, and is now used across our entire range. See how it works

These proven non-contact microarrayers are used by a wide variety of laboratories, institutions and commercial organizations around the world. Their inherent flexibility makes them suitable for a huge range of applications.

Changes with your requirements

The Marathon and Super-Marathon are built on our modular microarrayer platform. This means you can start with the entry-level Marathon, then upgrade to the Super-Marathon as your microarray requirements grow.

  • Adapts to a varied range of applications. You can print microarrays with a range of samples - from nucleic acids to cell lysates.
  • The included Command Centre Software enables you to design the microarray layout you need for each individual project.

You can also benefit as we develop new products: the modular design of our microarrayer platform enables you to install upgraded components as they become available, extending the life of your microarrayer.

Consistent, reproducible results

The Marathon and Super-Marathon Inkjet Microarrayers print consistent microarrays, time after time. This enables you to accurately reproduce experimental conditions and generate meaningful, comparable data.

Microarrayer capacity

The Marathon and Super-Marathon Inkjet Microarrayers enable you to produce microarrays, fast:

  • Print microarrays on up to 100 slides or alternative substrates.
  • Marathon accepts up to six microplates – and you can reload with up to 90 more.
  • Super-Marathon takes up to 48 microplates – and can be reloaded with up to 144 more.
