Arrayjet are proud to win a £350,000 order from a Chinese life sciences company that produces detection kits for conditions including infant deafness, Down’s syndrome and thalassemia, a blood disorder that can cause anaemia.Arrayjet is a Roslin, Midlothian-based firm, which already exports to 24 countries, announced the top end Ultra Marathon I printer order with Beijing-based CapitalBio, a major government-backed life sciences business that specialises in looking for genetic mutations in DNA. A million babies in China have been screened with its genetic hearing loss detection kit.

Arrayjet is proud to secure a contract valued in excess of $600,000 with CDI Laboratories, a US-based proteomics company located in Baltimore, Maryland and Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, to produce the largest human protein microarray in the world. The inkjet microarray printer, Ultra Marathon II will provide CDI Laboratories with the technology to perform efficient analyses of thousands of protein interactions using minimal amounts of valuable research on clinical samples.
